do i need to play borderlands 1 to get borderlands 2?
also is there lots of replayability in borderlands 2?
ive never played a game like it, but i feel like people that do play it have been playing for months.

Either one is fine to start with. Once you start playing, you will be hooked. Months will fly by. lol

I played a bit of 1.
Picked up BL 2 a bit ago in a sale. Great game.
Just play 2.
Things you need to know:
1. You are on the planet Pandora
2. Run around and shoot things
3. Loot

No, but BL1 is a great game.

A whole lot. This game has multiple playthroughs, and more guns than you can count. Loot as much as you can in your first playthrough. Enjoy

the graphics are weird, and since i don't have intrawebz connection, it felt lonely

I'm almost level 30 in Borderlands 2 and I find that I'm carving out more and more time to play it. I enjoy the hell out of the game. I play alone and so far there's nothing that I haven't been able to kill.

1 will sort of bore you because a lot of the missions are tedious go here do this then come back type missions. Still a very fun game though.
2 still has those types of missions but they tried to limit them and make the game a little more progressive. It's a lot more fun with a lot more to do but no way I would skip over 1 completely.
It helps to have 1 done to know the back story of some of the characters in 2 as well as the origins of Pandora.

I have a lot of fond memories playing through the first game, but if it's a choice between one or the other, pick up 2. It's an extremely more polished version of 1, and since it's a lot more fun playing with friends, you'd have better luck with that on the sequel. You can wiki 1 to find out enough of the story, not that there was much of one.

You will have fun either way. What I would personally do is pick up the GOTY edition of one, play it for a long time and then pick up the GOTY edition of 2 if there happens to be one. They will both be cheaper and you still get tremendous replay value from both. Great, great game.

Bone head in the first one was hard as hell to beat.

I know your pain. I don't have any PSN friends so BL2 got boring

GOTY edition for 2 isn't out yet. I'm still waiting on it. BL1 is the most fun game I've played of this generation.

I just recently got back into Borderlands 2
Playstation Network ID: TacticalONE
For anyone that wants to tear it up on Pandora, I have the Season pass as well.

Play it with people, it is exponentially better.

BL2 is amazing. I enjoyed it more by myself because i was being rushed by people that have beat it to hurry and finish every quest. Just enjoy ir at ur own pace. The fun is actually plahing the game, powerleveling doesn't make sense

Broke, are you still playing this? New codes valid through the 6th for a key or keys in Sanctuary. I can't copy and paste them from twitter (on my phone) for some reason
