And Les punting the ball with about three minutes left - he obviously is not a fan of the Jimmy V "Don't ever give up" attitude...

Anybody attend that "purple pants" game at Kentucky in 1999 where they beat us 31-5.

That's pretty high up on the awful list.

But UK and LSU in football was never that exciting or heated, so the disappointment was a little easier to handle.

And the spring game of '77 was really bad...not serious.

2002 Bama was pretty awful but the game earlier that season, being the 31-7 loss @ Auburn, was atrocious. I swore I'd never go back...then did in 2010.

THIS. Not to mention this was the year they changed the ticket policy and we camped out for 3 days for student tickets....and it only seemed to rain when we were on offense...but I stayed to the bitter f*ing end

Miami-Ohio...
Alabama, when Franchioni verbally bitched slapped our coach at the end of an arse whooping and our coach stood there and cowered like a little girl.

That game was fun because of the huge storm.

Auburn 88'

Dad wanted to beat the traffic and we left early. We were walking to the car when all hell broke loose. So from that day forward we never leave anything early and that has caused us to sit through all kinds of terrible games.

Tulane - 14
LSU - 0
Tulane Stadium. 1973

Tulane - 48
LSU - 7
Superdome. 1981

Tulane - 31
LSU - 28
Tiger Stadium. 1982

Catch my drift. I don't like Tulane. It's an embarrassment losing to them. Not much of a rivalry any longer, but it WAS back then.

Add the "Miami Monsoon" in Tiger Stadium to the list.

I know this is more than one but I've witnessed some horrible ones that I will never forget.

Not in any particular order other than the first 2...

1. 1993 - 58-3 vs. Florida Had to sit until :00 with my Mom, Uncle and Aunt because it was the one game my Uncle came in town for each year.

2. 2005 - Tennessee game. Girlfriend and I broke up right before game (still went to game). The most humid game I've ever been too. Never been so drunk/de-hydrated/miserable in my life. Thought I might die.

2007 - Arkansas. Felt completely defeated. Felt like someone had taken my soul. Sat in those stands a good bit after it was over not believing what I had seen. Had SEC Championship game tickets for the next week and was so bummed out. Who would have known what was to happen.

1996 - 26-0 loss against Alabama. Score on the first drive only for it to be called back for too many men on the field on "OFFENSE"! Herb TYler gets hurt after that and Shaun Alexander goes crazy

1998 - 22-16 vs Alabama. Still trying to figure out how we lost that. 2 tipped passes for touchdowns against Robert Davis at CB. Booty getting the ball taken out of his hands on a sure TD and an onside kick recovery. Most of this in the 4th.

1997 - 24-6 against Notre Dame in Tiger Stadium. Coldest game I had ever been too. They were an average team and came into Tiger Stadium and killed us only to get them back in Shreveport.

1997 - 36-21 against Ole Miss. 11:30 am JP Letdown game after Florida win. Helpless feeling.

Only time I ever went to Auburn was in 02. That was horrible. Had plans to stay the night but we jetted after. Another nasty JP game.

Was at all those too. The 96 Bama loss, like you said, after going down and thrwoing a TD pass to LaFleur I think and then watching a frshman RB humiliate us. The beggining of the end for Gerry.

Recently it had to be the loss to Tebow-led Fla. in Tiger Stadium. Drove in from H-town and didn't have tickets to the game so I bought from scalper and sat in Fla. section. It was brutal. Right as the last second ticked off the clock a drunk Florida fan punched me in the face (accidentally....). My wife was with me so I decided to let it be. Punch was a glancing blow and didn't even hurt or I would have probably slammed him in front of his buddies. I also remember Fla. receiver pushing off to score TD in 1st half. Bummer!
