Pending official word that it is what they say it is, cut him immediately. I'm so sick of this shite looming a cloud over the teams I support. Besides, this gives Fournette all the more reason to come on down and start immediately next year

This is the stupidest post I've read in a while, and that includes the thread I was reading this morning about our baseball team tanking on purpose

FIFY Parole violation in BR is no joke.

i think some people don't know the difference in parole and probation. his 6 month suspended sentence ended a long time ago. his 2 years of probation was very close to being over.

Sad thing is, all the people calling for his head and the head of every LSU player that makes a mistake, would be the first one's crying when LSU finished at the bottom of the SEC for strict disciplinary actions.

They would then call for Coach Miles' head because he can't win games.

It's a lose/lose for some of you guys.

I'll stick with CLM and live with whatever decision he makes...

Agree. But the decision might not be his to make if he has violated probation.

Not reading 75 pages. Just hearing about this.

Could someone post the cliff notes please?

Thanks.

Na, I was with Les on that decision. If he hadn't gotten arrested, I would've welcomed him onto the team.

I'm just saying to wait until the dust settles to start going forward with what we should do.

This is what jimithing11 says what happened

quote:

Here's what ive gathered. The "victim" was leaving Reggies and ran into a group of football players, which included Jeremy Hill.

The victim, who was heavily intoxicated, spewed the words "get outta my way N----."

The players said something along the lines of "what did you just say?", to which the victim blurted back "you heard what I said n------"

Hill got involved, punches were throw and numerous players (unknown at this point) jumped in and proceeded to beat the shite out of him.

kicks and punches were landed and some of this is on video, but convienantly started after the racial slurs started.

The "victim" went to the hospital, which I can confirm.

Important to note the "victim" has a past history of getting wasted and starting fights. He is a notorious drunk boxer.

Yeah the kid that got beat up is a friend of a friend. No way he's pressing charges. He incited it anyway. Called him the n word.

There are some things that are really damn hard to ignore.

Especially if you've been out drinking.

Someone calling a black guy by the n-word twice at 2am is usually one of those things. Based on the synopsis on this page (which I have no reason to believe if it is true or not) players gave him a chance to get out of it, then he called them by that name again.
