I generally don't consciously pay attention to the music in movies, but the music from the Big Lebowski and 2001: A Space Odyssey stick out to me.

The orchestral score from Batman 1989 is my all time favorite soundtrack

some Jarre influence there, as with most of Williams, but i think his oliver stone scores are really underrated, i guess because theyre not as iconic.

i also love the stargate theme, but its also sorta derivative of Lawrence of Arabia.
