The English Pixies documentary is gold, as is the French one.
Looking now for names.
Gouge, is the English documentary. It´s very good.

Is The Last Waltz considered a documentary?
People are Strange is a decent doors documentary.

Stop Making Sense is pretty good. It'll make you move around.

I'm about to start the Charles Bradley doc.
It is on epixhd.com. They are running a free 14 day trial right now if anyone is interested.

Two great documentaries that you've probably never heard of:
Dig - About mid-90's groups The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols.
Great music and interesting insight into the juxtaposition between artists and record companies.
I am Trying to Break Your Heart - Documentary about Wilco's recording of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
(and more insight into the battleground between artists and the recording industry).

It used to be the last waltz until I read Levon's autobiography.
Now I'll say festival express in my favorite.
