I would just rather our fanbase not look like whiny bitches. As terrible as the scheduling imbalance is, if we dont choke against alabama last year, we likely win the national championship.

very valid point

i just want the information to be known so that even if the schedule is unfair for a year or two that eventually once the format is in place it will be balanced

I would rather you and everyone like you not look like a bunch of stupid pussies because you prefer to hold you butt cheeks open so an Alabama Alum can have his way with you.

I would rather the SEC divide the SEC into a East and West division that has teams in the East play in the East and Team in the West play in the West.
[edit clarification=if you are in the west geographically you should be in the western division or stop calling it east and west]

I would rather the schedules simply rotated so that every team gets the same eastern schedule over time and vice versa. A level playing field.

Why requesting a level playing whining. Aren't the rules suppose to be unbiased. Aren't the visiting team required the same equipment and amenities?

If your team has heaters on the sideline the visiting team has to have them as well. If your teams head sets break. The other team has to turn theirs off. Why? To make it a level playing field.

Having dedicate out of division opponents mean it is IMPOSSIBLE to have a level playing field. It doesn't matter if it is LSU getting screwed or not. If LSU isn't the one getting screwed then that means some other team is and that is wrong.

If it is awesome to play Florida every year then you are screwing Texas A&M because they now only get to play them half as much.

Just make it fair. It isn't hard and you don't need non alabama alumni to make it fair. Just do what is right.

In all fairness this a bit of an arrogant attitude that over looks how inconsistent LSU was last year.

They still would have had to have won the SEC, and then you have to play for the national championship.

Had LSU pulled off the upset against Bama, I wouldn't automatically assume they then win it all. Just look at the Auburn and Towson games. That team simply did not have the same fire as 2011.

Perhaps beating Bama would have allowed them to regain their swagger, but team was far short of being great last year.

If the fanbase has no complaints, then it's probably not seen as a problem.

Catch-22. If you complain, you're whiny. If you don't, well, it must not be that big a deal, right?

When Alabama gets two practice scrimmages while we are beating our brains out against USCe/UGA and UF every year, it's a little easier. To say nothing of the relative health the 2 teams arrive at said critical game in. Little easier to rest your players and not have them get hurt against #86 Kentucky than #8 USCe.

If they played our schedule its possible they dont make the bcs championship gane either year.

I mean we beat them in tuscaloosa and had to play them again.

...meanwhile, Alabama chokes against A&M and still wins the National Championship.

I don't disagree that LSU fans can be whiny bitches. I hate our fan base the majority of the time. But, the complaints about the schedule are problably the worst example that you could think of to prove that point.

LSU fans have a very valid complaint whether you want to admit it or not.

You are wayyyyyyyyyyyy to late.

ESPN noting the "what da frick" nature of the SEC out of division schedule in reference to LSU is a good thing.

Too bad our own SEC office seemed totally unaware of what was going on.

That makes no sense. That's like playing a baseball game where one team is only allowed one strike, and then you say, "well, if y'all would've hit the ball, you probably would have won."

Beating Bama, alone, would not have gotten us anywhere. We still would have had to beat all but one of Florida, A&M and South Carolina (which we did, accomplishing more than Bama did in its season). All Bama had to do was beat us, and they could still afford to lose to A&M because they didn't have any other tough teams. And the schedule was (and continues to be) set up for them to be able to lose to us and still win it all because the odds of us going 10-1 or better against the murderer's row we have to face are extremely remote. If we lose to them, we are boned because they are set up to make it nearly impossible for them to lose two other games. And besides, even if they lose to us and we go undefeated, they are still set to win it all because their schedule makes it fairly easy for them to win all the rest of their games just like 2011.

Apologists for bullshite, people that want to blame their own team when they get screwed, that's just so inferior imo. It doesn't take much to stand up for people who are getting screwed, especially when you are supposed to be on their side. It takes nothing at all, no brains, no courage, no guts, nothing, to hide behind excuses because you're afraid of how you'll "look" to everyone else.

That's funny because I guarantee you whine about something LSU. Just because fans want fair scheduling and are vocal about it doesn't mean they are complaining.

The revolution, "muckrakers", civil rights brought out the truth caused change.
Scheduling isn't important like those things were but it is unfair in our conference and it needs to be changed.
