I picked up book two on audio. Driving 3 hours a day should clean that up pretty quick.

Slow episode tonight...definitely trying to reacquaint the audience to the story before all hell breaks loose. I find the dragons/the Far East component of GoT the most interesting and unfortunately didn't get any of that tonight.

For some reason I get the feeling Margaery is going to kill the little dickbag king. My wife has never watched the show until a small part last night when Joffrey was talking and my wife said, "Damn that guy is an a-hole!"

Solid episode, but it goes to show how convoluted the show is...we saw like 6 or 7 different storylines, and they still left some out of the show completely. As much as I love the show, it kinda sucks when we get scene after scene of a few lines of dialogue with one storyline only to have to keep moving onto the next one. It kinda makes me feel like nothing is happening.
And I realize why it's necessary to do that, but I wish we could get even just a little more time with each plot. Sucks the episodes are only an hour long I guess..
