The Red Sox was who I liked when I was younger. What are some tips to make me like it more. I am trying to give every sport a shot even if its baseball!! I need a team to root for, give me some and reasons why.

Edit: Key word is MLB I love LSU baseball already no need for me to grow on it

If you have to try, then you're wasting your time.

If you just want to jump on a bandwagon that'll go to the world series then I'd pick the Astros.

play fantasy baseball with some friends. It will force you to pay attention to games and will give you some stake in the game. The problem with being a baseball fan in Louisiana is having no team to root for. You're probably best off just sticking to college baseball though.

Play fantasy baseball and research your favorite team. Learn about their farm system and who their good prospects are.

Also, the best way to "get into" baseball is to go to a game live.

Fantasy Baseball and betting on games will make you pay attention, easily.

As for a team.. follow one with LSU starters, such as SF Giants? I started to get into more last season and picked the Nationals, and for some reason they are making me look like a bandwagon fan now

If you want to root for a team that chokes every year, Most atlanta fans can help you out and join you when weeping.

Also if you enjoy having your team out of competition by June watch the Cubs.

Choose the DBacks. They have a former LSU player in Aaron Hill. They also have BMac, who occasionally posts on here. They may not make the playoffs, but they'll be competitive throughout. I actually think they will be better than most people give them credit for. Since I cant watch the Astros because of their new TV deal which no major cable provider is associated with, I jumped on the DBacks for the time being.

But as someone mentioned earlier, the Astros will win it all this year, so you can just always jump on that bandwagon...
