He should be really cheap. Give him a shot.

Do not want. There are many free agents on the market worth bringing in instead of taking a risk on VY.

Yeah because a back up qb is a big risk.

Seriously though, he should be cheap and he could win a game or two if needed. That's all you want out of the 2nd qb. I don't care that much though.

Would be ok with this. Did they send two guys to specifically check out VY, or were they there to watch Vaccaro, Oakafor, ot there other guys, and watch Young while they were there?

Dude said specifically in the op. It doesn't get any clearer than that.

I would think they wait till the draft and see if someone they like is just sitting there late round and scoop him. If not, then go get a vet backup after the draft. VY and JR will likely be sitting around waiting for an opportunity still

before we signed Brees, and Mario Williams was surprisingly picked 1st, I was thinking we may draft him.

Probably has more to do with Sean wanting someone that can run the read option in practice as well as have starter experience as a backup.

I do not think they see him as a long term player for us.

I can read, douchebag. But in case you didn't know, not everything you read on the internet is true.

I was watching NFL live last night and they had a segment on Young... some impressive numbers. Something like, his QB rushing yards from his last starting season would be like 3rd in the NFL, his winning % is higher than 20 other starters, and there was another passing stat i dont recall htat was pretty good.

I dont think he would be a bad option, particularly learning from Payton and Brees.

No question he is very talented, but obviously he has issues. Whether its laziness, stupidity, crazy, are all of the above, I think that is what is turning people off. I wonder how his "pro-day" went.

The dude has legit mental issues.

Payton's not gonna be able to coach him out of that.
