We'll have a nice little start to SEC play; 2 of 3 from Moo State and sweeping Auburn would be great.

2 of 3. We're at home and much better than Auburn, but they'll be motivated to earn their first conference win, like Miss. State.

Under Mainieri we are 10-8 against Auburn. The series count is 2 wins and 4 losses. We have swept them twice, and lost 2/3 the other 4 times. Last time we won a series with them was '09.
I just find it so weird that Auburn, of all schools, has our number (relatively speaking).

Auburn has trouble putting runs on the board and doesn't hit very well. Only 1 of their 3 weekend starters has been very good. IF we can get a few runs on him, I say we sweep. He will pitch against Eades. So hopefully Eades brings his A game.
