How old are you? 39 here.
I said I wasn't posting here anymore, but you asked me a question.
I'm 48. And yes, the 86 Masters was magical, no question about it. Jack had been written off and made the other guys wilt, just like he had done some many times before.
The 97 Masters was magical as well. No one was more fascinated with Tiger than me, and it was great to watch him. He dominated the next decade much like Jack did the 60's and 70's and early 80's.
I don't get all of these young guys who never saw Jack play, giving all this credit to Tiger. I guess it's who you see play I suppose.
Today, Tiger has less majors. Is that the only measuring stick, no. Jack won from the 60's-80's consistently. My point to all is if you are going to throw around GOAT, you have to compare the other contenders, not just the one you are watching today. That's all.

Again at no age was jack better than tiger. Pick any age 1 to 37 and tell me an age when jack was better than tiger.

One important thing that hasn't been mentioned is that TW respects Jack and his accomplishments. He had newspaper clippings on his bedroom wall as a kid. He's always looked up to Jack and his accomplishments.
And truth be told I'm pretty sure Jack is impressed by TW's accomplishments between the ropes. Of course he would like to keep the record, but I suspect he would be the first to call and congratulate TW if he wins #19.

No doubt about that.

That works both ways you know.

Also, Tiger can get back to #1 in the world with a win at Bay Hill.

So am I alone in suspecting that Tiger was before and now is again taking some kind of PED?

So your theory is that he was taking, took a break, then started to win the minute he began taking them again?
It's sad that in our sports world now, if you're good, you're cheating

I suspected Tiger and PEDs as well bay..possibly greatest of all time, who knows, but I'd take the field over him at the Masters..

They are tied at majors for their ages? I don't know if you are just making the "better athlete" point? Could Jack hit a 5-iron 240 yards? Probably not. The argument you are making is impossible without a time machine, kidnapping 1970 Jack Nicklaus and giving him a few months with graphite, titanium, and Pro V1's.
You are talking about Jordan or Joe Montana greatness. The ONLY stick to measure with is majors in golf.

No your not alone..... I'm sure there are plenty more ignorant people like yourself making baseless accusations after a Tiger win.

I formed the opinion before he won based on a picture. I know people work out, but he is far bigger than any golfer out there. I seem to remember him having lost some weight there for a while, but I could be wrong.
Also, frick you and your mom.

Rickey Barnes and Robert Garrigus are bigger than Tiger.
