I'll start

Clear any malfunction of an AR by hand, without sticking some fricking tool into the chamber.

Steer out of a skid.

Tie a Bowline knot.

Start a fire.

Follow a blood trail. (For buddies that aren't good shots. Every OBer shoots a heart/lung kill on BC/PY 185+ or better).

Change a flat tire.

Don't even want.

Be able to survive for 3 days or so with minimal supplies or tools. Every other skill kind of falls under this umbrella.

Dig a pond............................. Not a puddle

Capsize a boat/canoe/yak....... Without losing a gun

Put a dog out of its misery....... Before verifying what's actually wrong with it.

For the record, I started this post when there was only 1 reply. I got pulled away from the computer for something here at work. So I beat the "pond" and "kill a dog" replies..

Be proficient at knot tying. I fail at this, BTW.

Basic first aid is a no brainer, of course.
