Best Irons on the market

I currently carry a 6 handicap and i am looking for a new set of irons. I currently play a 2 year old set of AP2's, have you guys bought some of the newer irons lately and if so how do they perform?

You should know the only thing to do is upgrade to the 712 AP2s

Switched to Ping Anser irons after three years playing AP2's. Very pleased with them, much better fit for me.

What are some forgiving irons on the market?

This is all subjective. I can name a bunch of irons you can hit.
You'll get Titleist blowhards who swear no one else can make anything above a Titleist.

titleist ap2 is the best...nobody can make anything above a titelist. I hit my PW 145

I love my r11 irons, they have the look of a blade at address but are very forgiving.

Went hit rocket blades tour today, clubs felt good but did feel any better than my ap2's. I guess I'll try the Calloway's next.
