Dell Demps latest Chalk Talk?

In today's In The No podcast McNamara referred to a recent Chalk Talk for season ticket holders with Demps. Has anyone seen a recap of this? The last one I remember was several months back, but supposedly this is recent and Demps talked about upgrading PG being one of the offseason focuses and possibly using Vasquez some at SF if they did get an upgrade at PG.

Exactly what I thought. They will be trying to upgrade PG like crazy this afternoon and people on here that love them some Vasquez are going to be upset.

I hope no one at your work is wondering why you scheduled a meeting in the offseason

Looking through an email right now.
Nope I'm good. It was an email to my boss.

Thanks. That narrowed my search some but still can't find much on it.

in fact, Dell Demps admitted in his chalk talk with season ticket holders this past weekend that they did not envision him having nearly this big of a role with the team when he was first acquired. According to Demps, Lopez was originally brought on to use against the Howards and Bynums of the NBA and not much else. The expansion of his role in comparison to expectations from management should make Lopez a most improved player candidate on its own.

Didn't someone on here suggest GV as a SF and he was heavily ridiculed?

Yeah, and rightfully so. Vasquez is too slow, not athletic enough, and dreadful on defense. It would be a joke if he was ever in the rotation as a 3.

I remember in one of his Chalk Talks, Demps was asked if he thinks GV can be a championship PG, and he stated something like you need 3 allstars on your team to win. Either your PG is one and you have 2 others much like the Spurs, or you surround him with 3 allstars like the Heat.
Sounds to me like he's following the Spurs example.

Doesn't SF stand for Shooting forward? Uh, I don't think Shooting is his strong suit.

Lol, arse. SF is small forward. I'm glad you're showing your smarts though.

I did it and I also suggested SG as well. I really like him as a player and I want him to stick around. He plays hard and he has some talent, but I don't think his best fit is PG. Not full time anyway.

I don't think Vasquez would be the starting SF in this case, I think it'd just be a place to get him more minutes so he could be your back up PG but still get enough minutes to keep him happy as a 6th or 7th man. As long as there isn't a stud SF you could let Vasquez guard the 3rd worst perimeter player assuming your PG upgrade is good on defense. It's not much different than the SF minutes Roger Mason Jr. gets.

I small forward who is usually a scorer is my point, beautiful! That's what this team needs.
