This isn't a bad movie but in no way should it be this popular

The books were ok but Suzanne Collins has to be the worst denouement writer around. Every single one of the series endings were atrocious.

I clicked on this thread to find out what Catching Fire was and see that it is a hunger games movie? I was talking to a buddy of mine that had read all the hunger game books and he enjoyed them and tried to sell me on them. I have seen the movie once and was half asleep and guessed the plot for the next two books almost verbatim.

The first movie was really uneven. There were some really good parts with interesting ideas but other parts were fricking awful.

She's good at concepts and ideas, but terrible at writing them.

Also, she always sets things up but doesn't deliver. Climaxes rarely happen on yet page, instead the reader gets the aftermath and girl drama.

Yea that's annoying. Also the third book is maybe the worst book I've ever read all the way through

Dude, you must be a miserable son of a bitch to watch TV with. Almost every thread started on this board, you'll pop in saying something negative.

Each to his own, and you're entitled to your opinion. But damn, I'd hate to have such a difficult time being able to allow myself to be entertained.

Nothing but love for ya,

I didn't mind the first two. Halfway through Mockingjay, its like she ran out of ideas and threw together an ending to meet a deadline. I was very disappointed.

The book series was mediocre and the movies are mediocre, but they are at least slightly enjoyable.

Twilight is a joke of book series and film franchise. Even K. Stew wanted to slit her wrists because of the movies.

I think it had quite a bit more substance than that. The only message to Twilight is how important it is to have a hot boyfriend... and that's really it.

You like to steal from Stephen King, eh? Lol. He said, "Harry Potter is about the importance of friendship and overcoming loss. Twilight is about the importance of having a boyfriend."

I downloaded a free sample of Twilight on my kindle just to confirm what I thought. It sounds like it was written by a 16 year old girl. Hearing kids talk about it, I understand.

She's very overrated. I don't get the love. Nothing special to look at.
I agree. She is fit and yong, so she is going to be attractive. But she couldn't hold a candle to Rebecca Romijn as Mystique.

Cinematography in Hunger Games blew the entire time they were in the Arena.

Seriously by the end I was almost rooting against Catniss; everybody became so unlikable I would've been ok with a nuke killing everything
