Kudos to the ladies and we are gonna miss those 2 seniors after the season. As a whole, they are fun to watch and playing like a TEAM, thanks to coach NC. Charity line and shooting % was great today and hopefully contine for tourney.

As I'd said in response to one of secman's comments three weeks ago...........................let the season play out before declaring it the worst record by an LSU team in 14 years. On the contrary, I'd say that Nikki's done one of the best coaching jobs in the program's history over the past 14 seasons.
For this team to be 13-10 (4-6 in the SEC) and then to rattle off SIX STRAIGHT wins............against ranked opponents no less.............speaks to the kind of coaching that we're getting with this current staff. THAT is why you do your homework and you hire the BEST AVAILABLE coach for the job.........which is what Alleva did when he hired Caldwell.
Now, LSU is the hottest team entering the SEC tournament having won six straight. With Tennessee losing at UK today, they are the only team entering the conference tournament with a winning streak that long. Right now, all bets are off. This LSU team has as good a chance as any of the other top seeds of winning this tournament............maybe even moreso.
Over the course of this six game winning streak they've defeated.......
#9 Georgia (at home)
#7 Kentucky (at home)
#13 TAMU (on the road)
..............and we SHOULD HAVE beaten Tennessee. We literally gave that game away in the last 15 seconds.
Nikki has this team primed and ready and just the right time. The defense looks good.........scoring is balanced.......and the team is playing with poise!

Kenney really didn't play much today which was impressive. What is scary is that next years team will be better. More depth, another year of developing our players in the off season which is huge.

Another good win. Really impressed with the inside play on defense. They frustrated Bone and forced some bad decisions. If this team could decrease the turnovers, they would be right there. They have developed some more scoring and the defense has improved a lot. The lack of bodies is going to hurt in post-season.

Great job by Nikki. If we can get some really good recruits, I think she will have us back in the Top 10 mix.

Secman usually shows up at some point...
This season almost totally mirrors last year. The team was on the brink of missing the tournament altogether, now makes a big late season run to not only get into the NCAA's but get a decent seed.

We are 19-10 right now...
Last year, we were 20-9 going into the tournament...won 2 and lost 1 and got to 22-10 and were a 5 seed for the NCAA's.
Take what you want from last year...but by comparison, a win or two at the SEC's puts us in the 6-7 seed range for the NCAA's, I would think.

I agree. While I don't see eye to eye with secman12, I sort of find the pessimistic outlook entertaining. I'd say there's no denying he's an avid supporter and that is without question respected. I like him as a poster. Always level headed and articulate in defending his point, even when he's wrong

Yea, you guys are right. I know secman is a fan..........and I do think he's a little unrealistic in his expectations.......but he cares. Mistert is a miserable little man.
You ain't lyin! I hated Tasha Butts when she played for the Lady Vols but..........................let's just say she's appropriately named.
