FWIW espn bracketology has us at a 7 seed.

Also, I think we are much better built for the NCAA tournament then the SEC tournament. With only 8 players, I can't see them winning more then 2 games before fatigue becomes a factor. With the NCAAs, I think they're set up to make a nice run with a week between every other round.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing.

I remember back in 02, when we had a similar set of circumstances and made it to the SEC tournament championship game. But by that last game, they'd run out of gas.............

2002 SEC Tournament Championship Game

I'm just hoping that Nikki can get the team to play well enough in the first two games that they'll be able to rest the starters a good portion. But, that still may not be enough with only 8 players. In the NCAA tourney, with only two games per weekend, that is not a problem.

By the way, even though this probably should be on the recruiting board I think this young lady..................who's currently being featured on the ESPN Hoopgurlz page..........is a MUST GET for our program......

I have been posting on the other thread on the team, thanks for the "mixed" support, in any case, I agree great job by the team, coaches, all etc. Beating three top 15 teams in two weeks is awesome and the heart of this team is massive...Makes the Tulane, Hampton losses seem long ago and much less an issue....now as far as the assitant coach and his late night arrest at a bar, I still have an issue with this but am assuming he will be dealt with at season's end.
