Pretty innovative if you ask me.

BATON ROUGE -- LSU Athletics introduced a new virtual seat-viewing online tool which gives fans a three-dimensional look at Tiger Stadium from a fan's prospective.
This system, called "Seats 3D," assists fans with the purchase of single-game tickets. The system also includes an interactive parking map where fans can plot a course to all LSU Football GameDay reserved parking lots on campus.

Another feature of Seats 3D to be added in the summer of 2013 will be an online relocation tool with which renewed season-ticket holders and wait list members (based on LSU Philanthropic ranking) can check availability, switch seat locations or make new purchases.
"The capability for our fans to purchase and manage seats online is vital," Associate AD for Ticket Sales and Operations Brian Broussard said. "We are excited to offer this innovative resource to our football season ticket holders and prospective buyers."
Wait List requests for 2013 LSU football season tickets are being accepted through March 31 at www.LSUtix.net.
Announcements concerning single-game football ticket availability for the 2013 football season are made first through LSU's free subscription e-mail service - Geaux-Mail.

Saw that yesterday. Very cool.

That is excellent. They should give you the option of putting some people standing in front of you so you can see what it's really like.

I'm about to graduate. How does the season tickets waitlist work? Do I just sign up for it? Or do I pay a down payment or something to reserve my spot?

I'm not certain. My suggestion is to go through the ticket office and get in touch with one of the higher ups in that department. Don't talk to a student worker. They rarely know what they're talking about.

Lot of stadiums have this, about time they caught up

First join the TAF I would guess at the highest level you can afford. Then pay $10 to get on the season ticket waiting list. Good Luck.

I love how all the seats are the same price, but then there is a required donation of up to 1000.

We used to have it where you could click on your section and see a real picture of what you're view would be. That was much better. Although this is still pretty cool to play with.

That is still there. Seats 3D is just a new option to the seating charts. It'll be helpful to use them together. The Seats 3D is pretty cool.

That must be the view after half-time all the seats are empty.

This application is common place in sports ticket sales. Been around for years.

Outstanding.....if it was only accurate. When I look at my seats it looks as if I am so much closer to the field than I really am.

Agreed, it doesn't really give depth gauge. Other than that, it's pretty cool

How does the season tickets waitlist work?
1. Join TAF... I recommend at least giving $100 per year to get your 3 points (make TAF contribution by April each year). By making this annual contribution you will work yourself up the philanthropic rankings which are used to issue season tickets.
2. Sign up for season ticket waitlist by March31st at LSUtix.net for $10. You have to do this every year you want to be on the waitlist.
3. Continue donating annually to TAF $100 and work your way up the rankings. Continue joining the wait list every year.
4. Eventually you'll get a call. It'll take a few years til you get yourself into the Top3500 or so, which is generally the ranking level they get down to with calls.
(really and truly you probably dont need to join the waitlist for a couple years because your ranking isn't going to be high enough to get a call...but that's up to you...For only $10, might as well get on it... you never know when you might luck out and get a call.)
2014 will be a great year to be on the waiting list because there is going to be a lot of "shuffling" leading up to the 2014 season when many season ticket holders will be moving to the new SEZ (freeing up a lot of seats throughout Tiger STadium).

Pretty cool but they extremely exaggerate the view of the field. Go click the top corner of an upperdeck

Saints have this. For me, I like the actual picture like they had.
