Jeez, the song was a joke! Can't you take a joke? Yes, I can take a joke. I can take a bunch! A thousand, 10,000, maybe even more! But after 30 or so years, this stuff doesn't feel like joking. It's dehumanizing and humiliating, and as if every single one of those jokes is an ostensibly gentler way of saying, "I don't think you belong here." My girlfriend is as feminist as it comes and she thought that song was hilarious.
But then again she's not an irrational count who can't understand the difference between true discrimination and lighthearted fun.

And all of these people that are freaking out about Seth are making themselves look so bitter and stupid. What the hell did they expect when the Academy picked him to host? Have any of these people ever seen his shows? He was actually way more tame than I thought he might be. I think he only crossed the line a couple times. None of his women jokes were out of line at all and the song was hilarious.
I am getting so sick of the PC culture in this country. Everyone just needs to chill the frick out and relax.
