D.C. Jefferson is anyone remembers him (once committed to LSU as a QB, went to be a TE at Rutgers) only had 3 reps because he tore his pectoral muscle on his 3rd rep
That was scary

6" wing span. But whatever.
We have some real douche bags in this thread.
And anyone who says they're 180 and can rep 225 10 times AND says he's not strong is full of sht.

Where the 6'4 220lb body builders at?

I bet you have no nuts now??
All of these skeptical comments have to be coming from people who have never lifted weights period. 225 is a lot of weight, but it's easily liftable for someone who is remotely serious. Although repping that weight is impressive for smaller guys it's far from impossible and insinuating he has to have used steroids to do this is ridiculous.

Winters from Kent State only put up 9 reps. If he was not hurt, that is terrible for a 6-4 320 pound person
Probably squats 800lbs. Bench press over rated.

Trindon Holliday did it 10 times when he was in Indy

Chad Jones did it 9 times that same year.
He could've been in a tear down though

I'm around 190 and can rep 225 about 11-12 times.

I know! I weigh 175 and can do none.
But now that I think about it, I can do 15 push-ups!

Exactly. Someone weighing 160lbs can bench a lot bc he's likely about 5'4"

You are so full of shite and no you couldn't.

I honestly don't put too much stock into the reps.
If you are looking at a guy with the wingspan of an albatross, then of course it is going to be tougher to do a lot of reps.

It depends on your body build. If you have really long arms and a lean build then 25 reps for a LT is fine. It's harder for those long armed guys to throw up 30 plus reps.

I'm about the same weight (6'1" 197 lbs) and can do 28 reps and I don't even bench often.
