He wasn't very efficient.

If that's directed at me I wasn't implying Iverson didn't play with effort and energy. He did.
AI was a thug POS, but he played through injuries to jack up all those shots.

Impossible to be efficient when your 2nd option on offense is the one the only Matt Geiger

Yes, just throwing out ideas.

Just jacked up a bunch of ridiculous fadeaways. Talented, great and appropriately appreciated

#1 they got a damn good player Andre Miller in return(better than any Teammate AI ever had)
off the top of my head
Mutumbo (HOF)
Stackhouse
Iggy
Carmelo Anthony
I'd say all of these players are better than Miller. Maybe Stackhouse is equal to Miller but the rest are far and away better. He also murdered Tim Thomas's development.
Hell he wouldnt even pass the ball to a knock down shooter like Korver.

Everybody needs to quit making excuses for him. He was a terrible teammate and a selfish player. End of story.

It doesnt matter if the 76ers had less than average guys on offense. A great player can put them into position to make high percentage shots.
you keep harping on this stupid shite, yet there is no proof that AI made teams MARKEDLY better when he played on them

LMAO AI played like 90 games with Stackhouse and most of them were as a rookie he doesn't count.
Iggy was average at best his first 2 seasons in the NBA not even half the player Miller was. Iverson also wasn't in his prime when the played together
Iverson played with Mutombo less than 80 regular season games I would hardly call that "having him". Although what do you know the best guy he played with even though extremely brief AI got to the Finals.
Iverson was well past his prime by the time he got to the Nuggets
Oh and he didn't pass to Kyle Korver? The same Kyle Korver who had his 2nd and 3rd best field attempt seasons playing with AI?

Do you know who Matt Geiger is?
Oh and FYI Eric Snow couldn't hit 40% of his shots alone in a gym with a Fisher Price hoop

Matt Geiger only played for the Sixers for four seasons and started just 64 games for the Sixers? Why the hell do you keep bringing him up?

So you know he is a walking(barely) talking 7 foot stiff turnover machine who has absolutely ZERO scoring ability.

Because he was the 2nd leading scorer on an NBA team? Unbelievable a team that made it to the 2nd round pf the playoffs. I dare you to show me a team in the history of professional basketball with a worse #2 scorer.
Posted on 2/20/13 at 3:42 pm to VerlanderBEAST
yea im aware. Are you aware that his stint with AI was very brief?
are you also aware that in the NBA it's 5 on 5 and not 2 on 2?
This is very important because with this knowledge you will come to realize how stupid you are sounding.

Sure it does and the Sixers traded him away because the point guard couldn't play with the two guard.

Mutumbo was the reason they went to the finals and yes that counts.

has nothing do with how you phrased your orignial post.
quote:

Has nothing to do with your original statement that Andre Miller was a better player than Iverson ever played with.
quote:

what's a field attempt?
and despite the all time high in mins. those years (the reason for the amount of shot attempts) his usage rating was lower than even his rookie year.
translation: He was on the court more and used less because the ball handler wound't get him the ball.
that argument is toast. You have better chance of convincing me Derrick Williams isn't a bust.

yes that damn Iverson should of won multiple NBA championships and shot 70% from the field how dare him not pass the ball to these awesome offensive players who he played with for less than 100 games.
