OP, you listed "more formal" dining places. If that is what you seek. Uptown is probably a good place to look.

None are formal, but nice atmospheres. Good food as well.

Doesn't has to be a super formal place. I just know when I hear "great nola dining" I think of the one's I listed.

Clearly there are more (some at a smaller price range) which is why I'm asking here. Boucherie and Sylvain's are looking like winners so far.
