I answered with the fact that it's impressive he's still playing at this leave in season 17.
OK. But that LEVEL has fallen off. 17 seasons doesn't mean shite to me. Without SHAQ Kobe has TWO titles. And didn't LEAD his team to 6 titles in 8 years and there is no telling had MJ not retired the first time that it would not have been 8 for 8.

The worship of the false god continues. Pippen was the real driver of those teams. Jordan was just the lap dog that got to stick his head out the window and let his tongue wag.
Jordan never had a winning season without Pippen. That fact will never change.

Why do people, after all these years on the MSB, still seriously argue with this guy?

I generally agree with the take the big man angle, but Lebron is a once in a generation player, he bucks all the rules

Lebron for longevity and game closing reasons. I also think he'd be more likely to carry a bad franchise due to his passing.
Prime Shaq was ridiculous though

WOW. I forget that you have kobes dick in your mouth. You sure you aren't that chick from the motel?????
Anyway. Pippen was a great help to Kobe and A TOP THREE defender of all-time. BUT What happened in 2004???? And how did L.A beat the Kings in 2002????

People win titles BECAUSE OF SHAQ. BRON had to go FIND one.

shaq without adoubt. a big guy like that gives you rim protection, rebounds and scoring down low on the block. you build around those guys as they are hard to come by now as we see.

I can agree with that

Was Kobe ever definitively the best player in the league? I'm really not sure.
Prime Shaq for my team. I remember thinking how unfair it was watching him dominate, like he was playing in a YMCA league or something.

He was. The window in which his best player in the L status was unquestionable is shorter than some of his fans would argue though IMHO.

I think the problem is that when he was the best player in the league he was on an awful team and conducted himself like a raging a-hole. (didn't make teammates better, bitched for a trade, etc.)
