If any of you think this is the same offense with a NFL Super Bowl OC then you know very little if anything about big boy tackle football. Dont look for a lot of differences in April but come September you will see formations that yet unseen to tigernation eyes. Sometimes subtle but changes to those who know x s and o s.

we didn't hire Gus Malzahn....
it will be basically the same offense, what we all hope is that it is schemed better to create advantage based on what the defense is showing/giving

You will see formations that key match ups
visa vi receivers on LBs and getting ball outside the hash to reduce on possibility of turnovers. CC loves using TE especially in red zone and play action near the goal line. Expect a much higher red zone percentage with creative play calling combined with our brutal running game.

It doesn't matter if this new offense is the same...I think what we had was decent as far as scheme. It just needs someone to come in and make these players execute better and some of these plays need to be called at better times. All CC has to do is move this offense from in the 90's in rank to in the 60's and this team is going to the NC. If he can't improve that then dude needs to quit.

I never cease to be amazed at some of the comments on this board. Visa vi, above.

May be a bit optimistic but we may need that kind of improvement in the offense just to keep on par with previous seasons because the defense may not be as stout.

I expect it to be a balanced and blueprinted machine, without all the misfires of 2012.

Sid.
If I read correctly the post around here I would expect Cam to be just begining his presser when he then will be interupted and pushed aside and replaced by Miles and his "a want" story.

Sconna had a Raven's radio personalty on the other day & he said something that should give all of us a lot of pause. He noted that one of the things that improved after CC was let go was that JF finally had time to make pre snap adjustments in his play calling, as he was able to break the huddle with 12-15 seconds remaining. Under CC, he was breaking the huddle with only 5 or so seconds left, giving him little to no time to make any pre snap changes. The radio tallking head said this was a matter of CC wanting to keep control over the play calling as opposed to giving JF the time/freedom to make changes. But he also gave CC major cred for developing QB's & felt he & CLM will make a perfect match ( he is from S.Carolina, a season ticket holder, and a big follower of the SEC).
