Neither hss many issues, and on 1080p at 60hz no one should have a problem with microstutter.

Nvidia and amd have both done amazing jobs at updating drivers for sli/xfire

frick nvidia. 7970 for the win.

Every now and then, AMD/ATI comes out with a video card that benches higher than NVidia's top dog.

It's rare, but it does happen. Then, right after that, NVidia releases a new line that beats the pants off of anything ATI has to offer.

Also, NVidia is a much cooler company for supporting and developing drivers for linux. ATI's linux support is crap.

So, in response to your "frick nvidia" comment, I say "frick ATI/AMD". NVidia owns them in GPUs, Intel owns them in CPUs. They're a second place company.

Way to prove your ignorance

Edit: didn't even notice the next part of that sentence, making my statement even more a fact.

Edit 2: Coyote, looks like I'm going to get the new Arc midi r2 that's supposed to release sometime in March. Never knew they had a new Midi releasing until I saw it on their website. Pumped about it

Correct me if wrong but sli has less issues than crossfire correct?

Cfx has much improved and they offer a better surround experience. They are really close to each other ATM but I always chose nVidia because of drivers.

Blue, you will love Fractal Design products. They are awesome, enjoy!

I have heard great things about eyefinity from AMD.

Also is there any better performance from a system by keeping it cool or is it just to protect it?

Blue tells me I bought a 7950 at a bad time because of driver issues but that experience really turned me off of ever buying an AMD GPU again. It's a shame too because I am a fan of their CPUs. I know I am about the only one here that is actually.

Yes and no.

By keeping it cooler you can stustan a higher stable OC, but not by much. You can only OC as much as the BIOS let you since we have locked voltages, but you can always flash modded BIOS with voltage unlocked.

We still have a frig and washer/dryer to purchase for our new house.. So we have been looking around.

I told her the frig was at the post office for pickup. I know, lame joke. Lol

ETA: saying that she supports it.. As of now, since we have no kids yet. She knows fishing and being into PCs are my interests so she tries not to stop me from enjoying my hobbies/interests.

Just ordered my swiftech h220

Except frozencpu doesn't get their order in until the 11th. Now I just have to wait for the Arc Midi R2 to come out...

Gratz, all reviews point to you making the right choice.

New builds for March.. awesome. Anything built in a fractal looks and feels awesome. My 8350 is awesome just because it is in a Fractal.

Btw.. 2nd Titan installed, those coolers are soooo awesome they make you not want to put blocks on.

only on the uber high models. AMD is a better price for performance at virtually every other price point.
