Case fans are driving me nuts. I insist on looks to go with performance. Hard combo to find. I thought I had it with some Enermax fans that really move a lot of air quietly but now I'm getting bearing noise from them.

Case fans are nothing compared with CPU and gpu fans. You can undervolting case fans and make tem whisper quiet.

That'd be awesome. I can throw some of my fans in to the next benchmark competition. I'm starting to go away from the LEDs anyway. I'm moving to a new place and am gonna be using my pc in the living room kind of as a htpc. It would be good to get rid of the LEDs because they get kind of bright in a dark room.

I did this with some Scythe Ultra Kazes. Helped a ton. Those fans would cut your hand off if you ran them full power

Gardoki do you have an r4? Want a couple of these blue led cooler master 140s? They're not real fancy but they move air and cast a good bit of light.

Funny, I'm old and I like led lights. I tend to go with white though to offset the other colors in the case.

Again they're not gonna blow you away but they look and work pretty good for 10 dollar fans.

Sure would look nice in my white fractal case. Maybe I will get some of those bitfenix led strips that I can unplug easily for when I want them off.

Wire em up yourself man. I made 3 arrays for my old case that I had hooked up to a small dimmer I put back by my psu. I just put some small round led holders in, wired the leds in and popped them into the holders.
ETA: it isn't cost effective but you get it just how you want.
