Anybody else freaked out by the ghost at the end? I know it was supposed to be Lori but the face was blurred and looked like it may have been decomposed like a walker.

I'm not sure you understand what I am asking.
I know which thread this is...I'm asking if it's spoiler free (because normally one does not mean the other).

I thought it was a solid introductory episode.
Had one of those "reacquaint the audience to the characters and set up the season" feels.
What will happen with Darryl and Merle?
How will Glenn and Maggie resolve their issues?
How will Andrea react when she sees Rick and crew?
The two white guys will make a move, what will be the consequences?
How far off the deep end will Rick go?
What is the Governor planning?
Questions...questions...questions.
I'll say this, and I never saw it coming, but I like Carol. She's been quite the legit asset to the squad.

Did I miss where they got some baby food at some point?
What are they feeding this perfectly healthy, chubby baby?

It was a bit of a letdown being I had to wait two months for this episode but it was necessary to set up the new storylines. Hopefully it picks up the next episode. I have come to dislike Rick and just about all of the original characters besides Maggie and Glenn.

michonne brought the formula with her when she got to the prison

Glenn and Maggie found a shitton of formula right before Merle abducted them. Michionne brought it back to the prison with her

I was ready to see Rick embrace Cutty's crew but instead got the cliche' "seeing things" crap which just ruined the entire ep for me.
They already went down this road with the telephone stuff and wrapped it up with Rick supposedly pulling it together. They tied that up nicely and appeared to be done with that thread.
To pull it back out just sucks.

This. I felt like they should have moved on past this. It was a great episode and would have ended great with him accepting the new members of the crew. Instead we get ghost Lori and Rick running around like psych patient. Just thought it was unnecessary.

Looks like Rick battling with his sanity and holding the group together through turmoil is going to be the running theme of the season. At this point, and it's just me, the whole "adding depth and substance" has run it's course. I'm done with it. They did it for two seasons. I'm ready for these people to be absorbed into the group and for the arse-kicking to commence. No more grappling with sanity and humanity, lets just kick some arse and get it going.
Edit: I also don't think Glenn will die. I think it's setting up for him to become Rick's right hand man. I think Andrea will die...I think she will realize how twisted the Governor really is when it's too late.
