Having a good all-around team means nothing if you don't have a top QB. Just look at how inconsistent the Steelers were before they got Big Ben or how mediocre the Ravens were in the latter days of the Billick era.

that team won a super bowl with trent dilfer and then upgraded teh QB position and didn't win another one
