LSU is definitely the only program in the country that has a kid committed with possible academic issues

What I don't get is the bitching about Miles & Co. changing our offer to Lawson to greyshirt. Don't these folks realize that it's the frickin' NCAA rules that force these decisions? Why should LSU suffer and burn schollies because some kid didn't live up to his share of the agreement?

Before you yell "fire" in a crowded theater, let's wait until February 5th and see where this class stands.

Unless I am mistaken, Lacy went to a certain school in River Ridge during the summer to gain eligibility.

It was merely a question guys. I seem to recall someone not long ago starting a thread about why we seem to have so many Clearinghouse issues, where apparently others don't.

How about some rational discussion on here instead of a bunch of absurd, childish rhetoric? Novel concept for some I know.

You can jump on Miles for a lot of things but recruiting damn sure isn't one of them.

So

Legit question my fricking arse. You idiots can question miles all you want but recruiting is off limits until he proves otherwise.

Every fricking team recruits academic risk. Some make it in, some don't!!! Go back to the fricking rant!!

I like Miles!!! I've defended him for years in the midst of Gumpville. It was merely a question kids...we lost two prospects this week for BS issues. Period.

Flame on fellows...flame on!!!

Other schools have clearinghouse issues too. We just don't hear about them because we are here and they are elsewhere. Well ... Bama doesn't, but that's another topic for another day. Bottom line - we have to recruit these kids. If we don't, and someone else signs them and they get qualified people will bang on Miles for not recruiting them.

Easily one of the best classes LSU will sign in the past decade. QQ elsewhere.

You posted an irrational OP, then expect rational discussion?

My times have changed. When i went to Lsu all you needed to be admitted was a diploma from high school. Course Lsu was ticket to keep you out of the draft and Vietnam war. First semester classes were full to the brim hard to find a seat, by second semester over half the freshman had flunked out.
