Why continue to take so many risks...

On guys with potential academic issues??? Lawson, Cutrer, Leslie...No wonder Miles is out on the West Coast begging Willis to come here. Sorry guys, but I am disappointed. Instead of closing strong, we can't even hold on to what we had!!!

we need the guy that works for Saban that got Lacy qualified when Lsu couldn't. Must be creative grading or who knows what?

Is Leslie going to make it?

If the coaches didn't take the risk and offer these guys early what would you be saying if they turned out to qualify and signed with another program who jumped on them earlier?

Leslie, hopefully we'll know for sure by this summer.
Regarding the OP's question; this stuff happens every year to every school.
These kids need to remember that they're in school to make grades and learn first.

And if we didn't take a chance on those guys and the wind up qualifying at another prominent school, you have "the sky is falling folks" crying about we can't keep the LA guys instate. Oh no the fence is broken crap.
Double edge sword. It's happens... move on.

This class is what it is t this point, regardless of whether the kids committed months ago or at the last minute. This class is very good and the thought that we must "finish strong" to have a top 10 class is just bull.

Every school takes chances on academic risks. Bama is about to dump a kid too (or already did). Some guys are worth the risk. Obviously if we could get someone much betetr who would not be a grade risk, we would go that route.

Right back at ya buddy...legitimate question!

We didnt take a risk on Lacy. Not that we have a need at running back, but do you get the picture?

What if they did qualify, & we didn't offer them and they ended up somewhere else?
You'd be bitching about that too!
