I thought it would be good to share since we've all been guilty of one or more of these mistakes, mine as recently as last night, which is why I found the page in my research just now.

I am guilty of way more of those than I expected.

Oh! So those are mistakes. That explains a lot.

it's a sin how terrible some people are at cooking bacon

I'm only guilty of 9 and 16 and I'll keep doing it:
9. You're casual about measuring.
Yes, and my eye ball is 100% accurate. Why measure?
16. You don't use a meat thermometer.
Nope. I know when the meat is done. I'm over 60 and I've never missed yet.

Me Mum is highly guilty of
13. You don’t get the pan hot enough before you add the food.
It pains me to watch her add ingredients like a chicken breast into a pan, and then turn on the heat.

If you think your pan is hot enough, step back and heat it a couple more minutes. When you’re about ready to call the fire department, then add oil and proceed to cook the food.

That's great info especially for new cooks. I copied it. I still don't measure exactly, but that's why I don't bake. Too exact. Every once in a while it bites me.
I learned a lot of the other things over time, but I've probably made most of those mistakes at one time or another in learning to cook.

How critical is this for cooking eggs?

#1 "You don't taste as you go"
<-- has NEVER and will never be guilty of this
What I have been guilty of:
#10 "You overcrowd the pan" been there, done that
#12 "You turn the food too often" not as much lately, though
#31 "Your green veggies turn brown" I do tend to overcook due to neglect of the side dishes
Disclaimer: there would be many more on this list but for one thing; I don't bake, make deserts, or make anything more than a common salad.

I don't bake either. Don't know what it is but men cooks don't seem to bake.

I plain don't enjoy baking. It's not my thing.

With baking?
Doubtful
You can probably get close enough but let's not kid ourselves here. No one can eyeball exact teaspoons of powdery substances with their eye. There is a margin of error there even if it's a small one.
If a recipe called for 2.25 cups of flour you would just eyeball it? You might get within 5% but you're not going to get any more precise than that without being lucky.

Same here
I'm just not used to cooking big batches of food
Ruined a chili once with overcrowding the pan

The bacon one. My bacon looks like Robert Redford's skin. Never tried baking it.
Also helpful pointer on how to boil an egg. It should be the easiest thing, right?
