I've travelled a lot and have eaten a lot of great food. The best sandwiches I've ever had are still the po-boys I grew up eating in New Orleans.

The best sandwich I've ever had that wasn't a po-boy came from a sandiwich shop in Santa Barbara, CA. called Panino's.

We make this sandiwch at home now all the time.

Here it is for those who are interested:

Roast Turkey
French Brie (you can substitute Provolone if you don't like brie)
Fresh Basil
Mayo
Honey Mustard
Organic Greens
Tomato
Roasted Red Bell Pepper
Red Onion
Cucumber

They serve it on your choice of bread. I usually get it on Focaccia, but they also have Baguette, Whole Wheat, etc.

I had a great Reuben sandwich in a deli in, of all places, Truckee, California...about 20 miles north of Lake Tahoe.

Does anything make a sandwich better than a really good tomato? It can make a good sandwich great...
