Where they won't see that he understands very little about angles. Smart kid, except when it comes to Geometry/Trigonometry concepts on the field.

Really? Don't care. I mean I wish them well but I am an LSU fan and the early departures have decimated the defense. Since it's looking as if no changes are being made to the offense in the offseason, I am not looking forward to next year.
Right now, Bama will be way ahead of us. Georgia, Florida, S. Carolina, and probably A&M will be ahead of us on paper. Ole Miss is a lot better and Miss. St. is decent. Breaking even in SEC won't be easy.

Giants will need another pass rusher bc they supposed to be letting Osi walk

thank you, jim712, for using a thread about LSU players in the draft to talk about how bad LSU sucks next year. your valuable contribution is greatly appreciated.

he had better numbers and could actually tackle Alabama running backs.
You'll take a slow delusional liar over a better player

Well most scouts have him projected as a top ten pick. I would probably trust their opinion over yours.

I normally would agree..
Minter was the better player this year. Statistically.
Te'o's only stat over Minter is Interceptions. Which a majorities of those came off of tipped balls. Doesn't show coverage or anything like that. Just shows he was in the right place at the right time for the ball. Whos to say he wasn't beat on the play and the tip saved them.
Minter was the key component in an SEC Defense. Minter IMO is one of the most underrated players in the draft. Glad to see him starting to get some projections in the 1st round. Also, if Te'o doesn't lose some ground for that atrocious National Championship, on top of all this head case attention then wow.

Mel Kiper?
come on man, these are the same clowns who hype Brady Quinn.
There's a reason Mel Kiper works for ESPN and isnt paid the real money by NFL teams.

there's a reason outside of the top 3 picks, the clowns on TV are usually wrong. NFL teams want players to help them win...Not media darlings.

To be fair, Reid tried to do too much at times because of the lose of Mathieu, Claiborne. Overall, he still had a solid season, but not nearly as good as 2011.

Simon looked pretty awful at times this year. In some games, the other team seemed to prefer passing the ball too his man. It was as if they saw a match-up they liked.

Yea because there are so many examples of things like this.
Tom Brady the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.
Colin Kaepernick was the 6th QB taken in the 2011 NFL Draft. And has his team in the NFC Championship.
Guys can be wrong. Especially with how main stream everything is today with the media and internet. You have as much accessibility to the stats as they do. So many guys are now overhyped because of the media and aren't deserving.

yep. Just wait for his awful combine performance.
Too weak to play mike, too slow to play outside. He wont fit in an NFL system.

he wasn't "burned all year", but he certainly hasn't consistently shown the skills he needs at the next level. If he doesn't run a strong 40, he could be in trouble, IMO.
