I remember doing shite like that over the phone.
Calling local ISP's and getting the admins to give up l/p's for shell accounts.
I would pretend to work for MCI/Worldcom, tracing hackers.
Good times

No way that's real but I really hope it is. I have had my Origin and Netflix accounts hijacked over the past 30 days (got them both back) and frick people that try to steal other people's shite.

What makes you so sure that it isn't?
The kid is 13 years old. Decent chance of being stupid.

I am a glass half empty kind of guy and am skeptical of all stuff like this on the internet. Doesn't mean it isn't funny though.

Start padding your passwords.
I have the almost the same password for every account put they are all padded with different characters in different locations.
Example:
!Exa*mple17?

Yea I have. I changed most of my passwords when my Origin was hacked but didn't change the Netflix one which is what they hacked Sunday.

Friggin Obama
I have three general passwords for everything, with a few variations of each. Had to create a word doc just to keep up with them.

That 13 year old is a moron.
I guess there is a upside to kids not learning how to spell or use proper grammar.

I knew it was a bust while the grammar problems started piling up

This is great. Nothing worse than a thief. I get the same satisfaction from read this as I do when a home invasion goes awry because the perp gets his head blown off.

When you say hacked, do you mean you accidentally provided your information to the wrong person, or did a hacker actually infiltrate the site's security and decrypt your password?

That's what I want to know. I have no idea how my shite got out there but I believe it to be the fault of EA
Posted on 1/15/13 at 9:02 pm to ILikeLSUToo
The weak link isn't usually unknowingly giving information, or the site being infiltrated.
Its you getting a keylogger on your computer somehow.
