Favorite of all time:
The Freshmen by The Verve Pipe. So much meaning to me, deeply rooted in the turns my life took my freshman year of college.
A few of my other favorites:
Everlong by Foo Fighters, expecially the acoustic versions.
Delicate by Damien Rice. Beautiful vocals, haunting cello, amazing lyrics.
Cannonball by Damien Rice. Again, lyrically amazing, but I love the guitar in this one. Everytime I pick up a guitar, I'll end up playing this.
The Remedy by Jason Mraz. Nothing special, but no song can cheer me up like this one. I especially like the meaning behind it, with it being written for a best friend fighting cancer.
This Time of Year by Better Than Ezra. This is my official football season/roadtrip song. I also played on stage with them at House of Blues in New Orleans when I was 19. It's sentimental.
Great thread... I've been jamming out all morning at work.

Not true. It might be by a minute amount but take your 20 favorites and force yourself to eliminate them one by one.
