They use LSU to go to the league and LSU uses them to try and win championships. It is astonding how many of you think that these players shoul stay for .... what reason again??? They are in a position to acheieve their goal and they took it. End of story.

Couldn't agree more
Let's add that Minter already received his degree as well.

Just like all of the juniors and redshirt sophomores from Alabama, UGA, Texas A&M, Southern Cal, Ohio St, Florida St...
Oh wait, no school in the history of the NFL draft has ever lost 10 underclassmen before. What a great accomplishment for a team that finished the year the 6th best rated team in its own conference.

And we pay Miles 4 million dollars to get them to stay as long as possible

By what??? The AP? Ok well we beat SC and aTm in their own house. So what does that poll really mean?

Fine. frick it. Let's fire him. He's just an idiot anyway. I'm sure they're are droves of coaches out there who would could win at least 80% of their games and are dying to work at a school that just fired a coach that did.
I can't wait for him to leave just so I can watch this board verbally rape the next guy to come along.

+1
BTW, they do not want to see it, so they will throw out anything to try to hide the obvious

The fans with their heads in the sand are acting like this happens everywhere. Some are acting like all players across the country who could be drafted anywhere in the draft, 5th rd, 6th rd, 7th rd, are leaving school early.
The fact is that only very few players around the country leave school before their eligibility is up. In the last few years we've seen sure fire top 5 picks of the first round in the NFL draft return to school. But for some reason, LSU is the only school that has players that need to make money.

The only poll that matters, the final poll. We got lapped by 5 other teams in the SEC during the 2012 season. Don't give me the, "But we beat A&M and South Carolina..." Texas A&M beat Alabama, and I don't see anybody crowning the Aggies national champions.
The only conclusion that anyone can make about the LSU 2012 season is that with all of these NFL-ready players, LSU woefully underperformed.

so you are trying to say that these athletes aspire to be professionals?
So when they graduate, after redshirting, they don't want to play another year in college, for free, instead of being paid to play in the NFL?
crazy talk

What do those guys (as it relates specfically to our players leaving this year) have to gain by staying? Ware? nothing. Ford? nothing.

You are an idiot.
Go check how many players Bama had leave last year that were not seniors. Try educating yourself before you come on here just spewing bullshite.

Yeah going 10-2 through the SEC, and finishing 10-3 losing those 3 games by a combined 13 points. That is just woeful.

Yeah b/c we're loaded with NFL-ready offensive players all over the field. Ware and Ford platooned a position and Wing punted a ball.

I truly do think that the reaction and behavior of LSU fans have made this last 5 years far worse than anything that took place on the field. Even during last year's historic run to 12-0 and standing in Tiger Stadium getting to see that display for the first time in my life, there were STILL fricking imbeciles complaining around me.
Some in our fanbase will never be happy. If we'd be on BAMA's run, they'd fricking grouse about the 4th one that we should have won to make it four in a row.
