Man. I wanna rewatch the 1st season again. I remember watching it back when it was on and LOVED it. Matt was the man.
From Wiki:
In August 2008, Entertainment Weekly interviewed Gould about his experiences on the show. Gould said that the show made him feel "dumb" and that he "wouldn't do the show at all" if he was given the choice whether or not to do it again.[1]
In January 2013, however, Gould stated in a new interview released the day of the premiere of the show's third season that he had "come full circle" and had made peace with the experience. He noted that he still hears from fans of the show on Facebook and that in nine years, no one has ever said anything negative to him about it, that the fear he felt about what people would think of him was "...something I drummed up in my head."[2]
Sucks he felt dumb at first, but at least he's accepted it.

This is the funniest shite on tv. I didn't see season 1, but I saw season 2.

Haven't watched the new season yet, (DVR'ed), but just reading this line cracks me the frick up. Seasons 1 and 2 were greatness.

You will definitely like season 3. It's so good.

I don't know how the cast can keep a straight face through some of the scenes. I laugh every time the deaf girl talks.

New episode tonight
I'm wondering if this is the episode that Lamas returns
He has got to because from the trailers he is at a eviction vote in one outfit, but on the one episode that he was able to vote, he is in a different outfit
I'm thinking they out the deaf girl on purpose and say that she was cheating and the rules state that they bring back the first voted out.

Lady Justice, May I come inside of you?

I can't wait to see the episode pick up where they ended last week and see what happens with Chase in that house.
The episode description says that Chase will help out the black dude to the rest of the house tonight too, so the reactions should be funny.

The genius of this show, and why it works, is it isn't any more absurd than a real reality show.

I'd imagine they are really going to push it and see what he does and then come in and say "This was a test to see how you would react and Chase was the only one that helped.... Do you really think we'd allow you to go on a real fugitive apprehension"

I think Chase suspects something, but he probably thinks the deaf girl is faking for her own advantage and he's not going to out her. LV quitting was predictable. I couldn't believe they let Chase drive them around. That opened themselves up to major liability if there had been an accident. And holding a loaded weapon on the suspect? He's either incredibly dumb or playing along. Still an enjoyable episode.

Both of those are major no no's and if he truly knew anything about reality tv, he would know that theres no way the shows producers would let those things happen.
Thats why I thought they would stop in the middle and say "This was a test"
I'm wondering if he isn't in on it and it is a giant troll against the cast.... Would be funny for the producer to have told Chase in secret what was really going on and to string everyone along.

I don't think it would be nearly as funny as the original thought of Chase being the victim of the prank.
Although the whole gun scene is kinda odd.

100% of reality tv is scripted, so I don't see any reason that this would be different

Anybody watch last night? They missed a good opportunity to bring Lorenzo back when Chase and the prisoner needed a 3rd for their team. It would have been awesome because it would have come out of nowhere, and they could have incorporated him back into the show.

Obviously the show continues since they get to the next eviciton, but it will be interesting to see how they spin the runaway prisoner/workers outside and Chase thinking its a set up.
They did show Lorenzo doing a different eviction ceremony than the one he was evicted in, but that may be the final episode if they all come back to vote on a winner. Who knows.
I almost would like to see a Joe Schmo where in around episode 6-7 they figure it out and call off the show.
