that actually gets to run his scheme.

Watching the title game, it is stunning to see what a team with essentially the same talent level as ours can do when running a real offensive scheme.

I really wish Miles would watch some other college teams play and recognize the difference in what our offensive product is compared to other teams with similar talent levels.

i agree, it's very frustrating to watch this game, knowing LSU could be in this situation right now, rather than alabama.

I wish you all would realize he doesn't care what other teams are doing, media is saying, or fans are thinking.

To him, we are "the periphery" and we don't matter. He thinks his system is the only way.

For the love of God, please get a GREAT OC. The offense has been stale since the 2007 team!

After seeing Bama's OL blow ND off the ball, it's even more clear to me that LSU's players deserve a full time OL coach, at a minimum.

Agree. The offensive coaching at bama and many other schools is light years beyond what LSU is stuck with.

Not just play calling but actual coaching position by position. It shows big time

Key in this statement is "seeing Bama's OL blow ND off the ball" It sure makes calling plays look simple when an OL dominates like that. Other than the players executing, what is the difference in the plays that Alabama is running and what we have been running?

Umm, they have more than 5 plays in their playbook.

The people who think Miles is just being stubborn about the offense are stupid. If that was the case, why havent we had a vanilla offense since 2005? Its obvious that the 2008 offensive debacle made him SCARED.

How bout we get a new coach, OC, and AD? They all suck, especially the AD he's got the nuts of a four year old.

Are you fricking kidding me? The same talent level? are you telling me that McCarron and Mettenberger are equivalent? Our O-line is as good as theirs? Its not even close even without the losses. Which receiver on LSU is as good as Amari Cooper, a freshman? Lacy and Yeldon are better than any 2 backs that we have. It sickens me to say this but their offensive talent is way ahead of ours.

we run the same scheme. bama isn't a spread team. many on here think that the spread is the only way to go but there's no proof of that, esp in the trophy case. believe me, tejas a&m w/o jff is a mid level slightly better than avg team. the problem with our "scheme" is that our execution is inconsistent and our tendencies are strong, thus allowing many of our plays to be telegraphed and causing enough break downs to prevent first downs. add a qb that is not accurate with his passes and you get us; a team that wins a lot, albeit barely, because of an excellent defense and excellent speacial teams but a below avg, sputtering offense.
