I see they are pretty much all in the $120-200 range. Is there really any difference?

Got one, takes too long to grind the coffee, boil water, clean up, etc.

Are you planning on grinding your own coffee with a Keurig?

no, the whole point is to avoid that hassle

My point was that you don't have to grind your own coffee to use a french press

If you are used to freshly ground, french press coffee, you are going to be sorely disappointed by a Keurig, imo.

Wife has the platinum and loves it. She was a huge fan of Community Coffee and thought she would use the little insert (K Cup). She tried the Donut Shop coffee included in the deal and now doesn't bother with the K Cup. She buys the Donut Shop cups and is good to go. She swears by the thing, I just don't drink coffee.

I have a Vue. Has a lot of features with it. I just want to find the individual K-Cup for it.

I also have a Versimo...I like it better for coffee thus far.

The one at Sam's seems to be the best value. 60oz reservoir, programmable, comes with the "my kcup" ($18) and I think 36 variety cups. $129

That's the Platinum, eBay is the best route to save on tax. QVC and HSN also have it on special at times w/ all kind of junk thrown in.

Bought my wife the cheap coffee mate one at Target on Black Friday. It was $79.00 and you got a Target $30.00 gift card.

Sister in-law has the Platinum and about the only difference is serving size selection and the amount of water in the reservoir. BTW all the K-cups I have seen are designed for 6 ounces of coffee, so serving size variations is pointless unless you like watered down coffee.

It is also quite expensive to buy the K-cups. The nice thing is its easy when your in hurry that is about it.

Get the one with multiple size options and large reservoir.

The my k-cups defeat the convenience factor. Might as well just use a 19.00 drip coffee maker.

I've had one for about 3 years and love it.

I also have a french press which I use on the weekends.

I bought one for the office as well, which is great for clients.

Join the keurig coffee club and get discounts. The last machine I bought was about $65.

The regular one works just fine.
