Nowhere near the same coach. His whole approach is pinned on Chavis and the defense.

we had jimbo (who miles didn't want/like) and a bunch of saban guys...namely teh best QB in CFB

now i don't expect that LSU gets the best QB in CFB that often, so an 11 ranking is not likely

i don't see why LSU can't be in the top 35 almost every year without affecting that D though. i feel that's reasonable

And still found a way to limit the offense in the Auburn and Florida games and frick up a dream season that could have been. That that 06 team didn't win a National Championship is an absolute travesty.
