He's definitely an antagonist.
I think it could be argued that he is anti-hero and really his relationship with Raylan has yet to be permanently defined.

"Would you f**k me? I'd f**k me"
Also, is this supposed to be an antagonist that I hate or love?

If you watched the reboot of V on ABC....Anna the Queen was the most vicious, evil, manipulative TV character ever invented. I fricking hated that bitch.
She made Hannibal Lecter look like a toddler

Either or, this is about antagonist that make the story, so well written they elicit extreme emotions either way.

yeah, updated the OP to reflect the answer to the question.
I'm going to add President Coriolanus Snow from the Hunger Games Series, his ability to elicit hatred from the reader was great. He didn't care about human life in any way, and it was one of the many things that drew me into the story of the series.

Cell... dude was a total bitch
(only alternate timeline cell though.. current timeline Cell was actually kinda a pansy.. "Hey, I'm standing right here, on this mat, I'm calling all the world fighters to me, I'm not going to actually go out and take over the world, I'm just gonna stand right here, come and get me.." )
