Three pass plays in a row on that drive was the correct call, they just were not executed well.

Jeremy Hill acknowledged that the run was not doing it for LSU: "They made it tough for us by stacking eight or nine guys in the box,” said Hill of Clemson’s defense. “When you see that lineup you know it will be tough to get yards.”

Clemson ran 100 plays, which explains why our defense was worn out at the end.

I also think the talent gap between the SEC and Clemson was exaggerated.

LSU has a lot of young players who will all improve markedly next year, and I expect a strong season next year.

It was soooooo tough for Hill that he averaged 10 yards a carry and had 124/2 in 3 quarters.

The 2nd down pass play, while a gamble, was clearly there. Mett missed it. Third down, I still throw to win the game...remember Bama ?

And how did they manage to do that?

Could it be because our drives averaged something like 3.4 plays, at best ?

AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT ?

Hill couldve easily gotten the first down if he ran 2-3 times

No, it wasnt the correct call. Not when your RB is averaging 10ypc and you have two to get.

How and Why did Clemson run 102 Plays ??

LSU defense couldn't hold UP ?

The Offense was unable to keep the defense off the field ?? This was Clemson ont Bama, what the hey !!!

LSU was prepared to play .

Very similar to Last years SEC Chap game ...but Ole TM7 jump started what the coaches couldn' Do.

They weren't prepared for the NCG and Bama beat them like a Dog ...

This will happen next year also...Book It.

There is no defense for Les Miles. He is an offensive lineman, and our offensive line looks like Swiss cheese in year seven.

Players almost always try to defend the coach.

It was NOT the right call. You run the ball and make them use their timeouts. Even if runs are unsuccessful they have to burn their timeouts which can be critical when you only have over a minute left.

But LSU had a RB that was averaging 10 yards per touch. I don't care if they had 50 guys at the line. LSU can line up and get two yards against Clemson on two running plays. Hill has had many times this year where he got big gains on plays with little to no blocking of defenders.

DUMB.

There is no excuse for our inept offense when you have talent. It's been this way for the past 5 years. No creativity whatsoever and that falls squarely on Miles.
