I did a 130 mile kayak race in one those.

yeah I'm not about to do that in a fat, fishing kayak

that is the equivalent in doing the MS150 in a Huffy Moutain Bike

I had the occasion to use one of that model a few weeks ago. I don't have much experience kayak fishing but I mastered that one in no time. I'd love to get into kayak fishing more, but the boaters and jet skiers here have no regard for them and I nearly got the kayak swamped by some teenager..

What goes into choosing sit on vs sit in?

my choice came down between the Native and the Jackson Cuda

I chose the Native because I feel it is more stable than the Cuda, and has more storage. I like that it is a kayak/canoe hybrid. It is also lighter.

Salmon, do they have scuppers or is it more of a canoe hybrid?

This. I get to wet in mine to go in this cold and don't have proper cold weather gear.

you can get scupper plugs. That seat looks comfortable as shite though, a huge plus if you like to spend 8+ hours on the water like I tend to do. I've got a sit in but prefer the sit on top and will go back to one of those eventually. If you ever flip a sit in (I've only done this once, in the gulf) it's a nightmare.

I feel like you have easier access to your tackle/cooler in a sit on top. Plus you don't end up with tan thighs and pale shins

Will you have some sort of bilge pump or not worry about it? You can stand in that one, right?

why would he need a bilge pump

judging from the pic, that doesn't look like a kayak i'd be standing up in

I'm not going to worry about it. If I just have to fish in the rain, I'll go in my other kayak with scuppers.

I did not

I did not like that they were so expensive, yet to basic. They don't even come with a seat.
