Do you fly fish?

I'd be going crazy if I had that thing on the way. Awesome toy.

Now my plan to sell my yak and own a boat while mooching yak trips from you and Mr. Roberts is complete. What reason do I have to own a yak if the two people I am most likely to yak fish with both own two yaks? ::winning::

I only have to cross a very small bayou. What i really need is the smallest bateau made. Like a 6 footer.

Grats on the Ultimate.

My son and I fish out of a Ultimate 14.5T all the time and it has been a great kayak.

Rock solid stability- no issues standing up. It does have a ton of space, but is also limited in some areas. Did you get a new model with the track system? Ours is the older without the tracks, and rigging has been interesting as far as rod holder placement and so forth.

As for a bilge pump, I picked one up and always keep it in the boat although as of yet, I have not needed it while I was in it. However on a few occasions so far I have needed it to empty the water out after a hard rain. Otherwise, a sponge will get rid of whatever water pools in the bottom.
