I highly respect and admire miles...how many bama fans would like to see him at bama if saban were to leave. (disclaimer..i in no way think this would happen, but I ask the question to gauge the level of respect bama fans have for miles)

He would definitely jump at the opportunity.

He is good but he drops at least one game a year.

he could lose to LSU and still win the nat'l championship.

Lol.. I think most bama fams regard miles as a top tier coach....lsu is damn lucky to have him, as are we with saban...there is very little difference in quality. A couple of bounces of the ball the last two years and miles may be going for his third. He gives his team the tools to win, and does a good job in coaching his kids up. Thats about all any coach can do.

Sean Payton has a better shot at going to Alabama than Les Miles does.

That was a valid argument until last year.

LSU was 13-1 in 2011.
Therefore, the statement was true last year.

Actually, LSU was 14-0 in 2011.
Check your calendar.

As opposed to losing to both Arkansas and Kentucky and winning the nat'l championship.
