A good place in BR for a casual dinner?

My wifes bday is tomorrow and as luck would have it, her work is sending her to BR for a 45 minute meeting. She gets the rest of the day off. We will have our 4month old kid with us and we will be dressed comfortably.
Im looking for a couple of suggestions for lunch and dinner that are out of the ordinary. Any kind of food, money is an object (want to spend no more than 75-100 bucks w/o drinks), and I am not really familiar w/ BR.

I'm assuming you live in a smaller town with limited food options? What part of BR will you be in?

Im aware. But after the 45min meeting at 9am, we will spend the rest of the day in BR.
To the rest of you, thanks for the ideas and I will press you further to ask for your opinions on the menus. What are the "house specialties" at these places or what is your absolute must have on their menus?

Sorry, you said you weren't familiar with Baton Rouge. Wasn't trying to be an arse (though it did come off that way).
La Lagniappe is a little upscale IMO for a small child. I'd go with Byronz, Parrains or Chelseas.
Byronz is a "bistro" type place. Take that for what it's worth.
Parrains is seafood. Owned by the same guy as the chimes. More formal than the Chimes and much more variety.
Chelseas is the most laid-back of the three I mentioned. And is probably better for lunch.
