Clemson may not reach 17, let alone 27. Their offense won't be on the field long enough......

Misleading title. One person from ESPN is picking Clemson to beat us. You should correct your title so as not to be dishonest.

It's not crazy. Teams often come out flat when they're playing an inferior opponent in a disappointing bowl. It hasn't been Les Miles' tendency, though, so I doubt it.

If LSU shows up motivated, they'll win. If they show up lethargic like they did against Towson, I'll be nervous.

allow me to play devils advocate ... LSU the last two games were not playing inspired football, the two teams they were playing were not as good(understatement) as this Clemson Team or as well coached. It has been very obvious among fans and players that the Peach\fried chicken bowl is beneath them. I truly expect the staff and players to be prepared(on paper) but I will not be surprised to see a close game and maybe a white knuckle ride...

here's hoping I'm wrong

LSU had its sights set on a January bowl, and the ACC Tigers are far more excited about an opportunity for redemption against the SEC.

This is a fact.

I still could give a shite about this game

Win or Lose could care less. I imagine the players will have a hard time focusing.

If LSU does that they will lose

If it was the same show I saw they all picked LSU. All said LSU would dominate Clemson Dline.

Allow me to play realist. LSU at the end of the SEC schedule every year is physically tired and beaten up. It happens to us every year. This year was no exception.

Freeze > Dabo regarding coaching.

I would be. A rested LSU team is usually pretty nasty. It's amazing what a month of rest does for our football team. I expect LSU to run the ball effectively and control the clock enroute to victory.

Your lack of enthusiasm for the Chicken Bowl, in no way. reflects how the players are feeling. I'm sure they are ready to stomp a mudhole into Clemson on national TV.

The least mtivated I've ever seen an LSU team for a bowl game was the National Championship last year and I bet it was because it was against an opponent that we had already proved we were better than.
