I wear Converse. They have the composite safety toe, so are much lighter. Also, they're pretty much just like wearing converse tennis shoes. Super Light and Comfortable. They're pretty hard to find, but an internet search shows pretty good returns.

I had a pair of Georgia's for a while. They were comfortable but took some getting used to. They held up far better than the cheap Justin's I had and about 3 pairs of tony lamas.

Tony lama had to be the worse boot I ever bought. They sucked arse. I destroyed two pairs in 4 months. Overpriced and paying for te name.

I've got the Ariat work boots. Not a problem with em and they are durable as heck. Nothing wrong with em and been using em for over a year now.

I have a pair of wolverines right now that's holding up fairly well. I don't see myself getting a year out of em though because the seams are starting to stretch.

Ariat or Red Wings have always been the longest lasting IMO.
I really like Dan Post, but the girl at the store told me that they arent really made to be a work boot, wouldnt hold up like the others.

I go through boots like crazy. Currently wearing Georgia Boots. They are the Athens steele toe Wellington. Moccasin toe and slip on. They are the shite.

I've worn nothing but lace up Justin's for more than 20 years but just recently bought my first pair of slip on Doc Martens.
I'm not liking the feeling of them "slipping" around on my foot but the Justins wear out so fast. IMO

Chippewa makes a great boot, and they are Made in the USA!

I have these and they are extremely comfortable and can also be recrafted. The soles are like walking on a big cushion.
