OK, so the Slayer looks like Native's effort to copy the success of Jackson, who makes the Cuda/Coosa. Higher seat, more stable, but still a Sit-on-top with scuppers.

If you can wait, Pack & Paddle will have demo days in March-May, where you can try all these boats out. If not, longer means faster. Shorter is more manueverable. I like longer for the marsh and long trips; shorter for small waters and rivers.

I'm seriously considering the Big Tuna next year. i want something I can bring my daughter in and occasionally Mrs. Deacon if she behaves.

Just don't know how much effort it will take to paddle that big sum bitch by myself when going solo.
