Suggestions? One obstacle is he is left handed. I am not a bow hunter but he really wants to start.
Side note - last week he killed his first buck 8 pt, small but nice for him. He also got a turkey.

Well congrats on his kills
Take him to a sporting goods store & look around for something he can pull back & get one he can grow into

My 8 yr old son shoots a mathews genesis. He can grow with it complete set up arrows/bow/cheap little sight/ and quiver was 199.00 I believe.

If you want to get him a toy that will actually fling an arrow instead of a suction cup Academy has a couple Bear bows that are made for backyard practice. If you want to get him one to hunt with the Genesis is really the only option for kids that small.

Lots if options. You want something with a whole bunch of draw length adjustment because he's going to start growing like a weed.
Bear, Mathews, and diamond all make good kids bows.

Bear at Bass Pro is a good starter I would think...
under a $100 bucks I believe....see how good he can get with it and then purchase a real bow he can use through his teenage years...

Mission by Matthews...He can use it until he decides to buy something else. My son has one and it is great, the next bow he needs will be the one he buys because this one he can grow with. Check into them, they are really nice and shoot great.
